9mm Gripper Rod Soundproofing Riser
For use under standard carpet gripper rods in conjunction with the ProSound SoundMat 3 Plus system
Constructed of mass loaded vinyl to improve soundproofing around the perimeter. A wooden layer to fix your carpet gripper rods to, and finally a foam edge to make the gripper rods airtight with the wall.
Used with our Floor 15mm SoundMat 3 Plus systems, under wooden carpet gripper rods, to add mass to the weak point around the perimeter of the room which blocks airborne noise. It also raises the carpet gripper rod to the correct height for gripping the carpet correctly.
For installation, we recommend using 14mm flat head nails for secure fixing. Nail through the wooden gripper rods and Gripper Rod Soundproofing / Riser, into the base floor.
